NEBULA III ~ Sterling Silver and Enamel

NEBULA III has a sterling setting that I have enjoyed using in a few previous pendants.  I had an idea that a crackle enamel centerpiece would be really showcased in this enclosure.  This one is relatively small compared to most of my work – about 1 3/4” in diameter with a domed 1 1/4’ enameled cab held in place by three tabs and a three-pin obstruction.  The unique sterling bail has been securely soldered in place. A 2mm 19” choker complements the pendant.

Each element is created from stock sheet metal, formed, sawn, cut, or shaped by hand, soldered, textured and patina-ed, polished, or riveted and assembled, then photographed for advertising and posterity.  No two are exactly alike.
