Casting molten glass in steel impression dies has occupied my time a lot in the studio lately. I am fascinated by the play of light when the back is left open under the glass cab allowing the room or sun light to reflect under the glass!
Two copper honeycomb-impressed pendant layers are separated with spacers and micro fasteners, each layer with openings under the green glass cab for the light to further enhance the play of light. The green cast bee is securely held to the top layer with flattened pin tabs.
My Green Bee Pendant measures approximately 2 5/8” x 3” and comes with a 2mm black rubber 18” cord.
