I have included ALL the supplies that I can provide that Francesca suggests for her January Torch Firing Workshop. There are more here than you will need to purchase, but everything is here for you to choose what works best for you! These tools and supplies include:
• Stamped copper shapes and/or 24 gauge copper sheet
• Thompson Enamel for assortment of opaque colors
Black (#1995)
Foundation White (#1030)
• Enameling trivets, at least 4 – get the 2 3⁄4” size
• Enamel sifters – at least 80 mesh and 150 mesh
• 9” tripod
• Butane torch (Eurotool torch head type)
• Blunt tweezers or an inexpensive pair of pliers (for moving hot trivets)
• Fiberglass scratch brush (not nylon!)
• Nylon hammer
• Bench block
• Forming tools (to give the metal a shallow dome)
• Something to make holes in the metal: drill, punch, hole-making pliers
• Metal shears
• Pliers (I use flat nose, chain nose, and round nose most frequently)
• Wire cutters
• Alundum stone
