You can decorate the vessel any number of ways, and can incorporate a fire-able cabochon, if desired. Using 20 grams of fine silver metal clay, students can make several pieces of jewelry, such as a ring, pendant, or earrings. Learn how to make a beautiful double sided pendant utilizing the technique of hollow construction. This technique allows us to increase the size of our pieces while saving both weight and silver, and the straight sides of the pendant make it especially elegant. The design possibilities are endless: the shape, size, and orientation of the pendant is completely up to you. We will use natural leaves for the texture, but you can of course use a texture mat, or even use no exture if you prefer. The pendant can be decorated with a flowing tassel, beads, or can be strung on a necklace.Find out more »
Jeweled Treasure Box

In this informative class we will learn several processes in creating a beautiful jeweled box. Students will learn the process of wood veneer, also the process of opal inlay with wood. We will also cover the finishing technique of flocking the inside of the box for a beautiful protective finish.
