Class description:
SERPENT’S EYE PENDANT NECKLACE (approx 2″ x 2″)  is an unmistakably unique mixed metal pendant necklace with a sterling silver hydraulic-formed textured domed top plate using an impression die (Potter USA “Legends of the Sea and Sky”).  The bail is also sterling silver.  This top plate is sawn and tabbed to the copper second layer (you will use a pancake die in the hydraulic press and solder pin tabs.  The tabbed sterling impression encloses a mesmerizing glass eye, one of many different eyes Jean has for you to choose!
The bottom layer of Serpent’s Eye will be brass or bronze and impressed with your choice of patterns.  The second and third layers are cold-connected with micro-fasteners and spacers.
You’ll be using a jeweler’s saw to create the open  center of the sterling layer.  If you need instruction with the jeweler’s saw, Jean will be there to help you!
Each student will leave with a finished pendant and 18″ rubber choker.
Included in the cost of the class are all the elements necessary to create your piece and use of all the tools needed to create it!
