Class description:
This one you will wear often!  Learn to make this gorgeous enamel and sterling silver pendant in this in-person workshop!  Jean is a trained instructor who will guide through the step-by-step process with care and patience.  You will leave with a beautiful enameled pendant set in a domed sterling silver setting, approximately 1 1/2″ in diameter, on a rubber choker.   Nebula will gather many admiring compliments!

You will learn:
How to torch fire domed and enameled copper disk from start to finish
How to successfully use crackle enamel
How to create a sterling silver domed setting for your enameled disk
How to create a domed anticlastic or synclastic copper disk to enamel
How to create a tab setting
How to solder sterling wire pin “obstructions” onto your setting
How to solder on a sterling bail
How to pickle and clean the sterling setting after soldering

Duration: 6 hours

Skill level: Adventurous beginners to those experienced with metal work and enameling.

Class price $110, includes all materials including the sterling silver!

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
*** Due to Covid restrictions, masks are required if you have not been fully vaccinated, otherwise they are optional.  Be prepared to provide your immunization card.  Also, plexiglass barriers are between each student work area.

*** Bring a bag lunch and covered drink container.  Jean will provide a yummy dessert!

*** STUDIO Covid safety precautions in place:
Social distancing; sanitized surfaces; hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes on every student table area; plexiglass dividers between students; circulating fresh air; pack-your-own-lunch.

Release and Waiver of Liability

Please read carefully.

By purchasing this workshop, you agree to release Charmed I’m Sure Studio, Jean and Lee Van Brederode, their neighbors, or the workshop instructor from any liability that may result from your participation in this event.

This Release and Waiver of Liability is executed by the purchaser of this workshop and Charmed I’m Sure Studio and affiliates members, managers, employees, instructors, neighbors, etc. (collectively “Charmed I’m Sure Studio”) with regard to classes, activities, and workshops held at Charmed I’m Sure Studio.

The Participant does hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress agree to the following terms:

1.Waiver and Release:

Participant does hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless Charmed I’m Sure Studio and its successors and assigns from any an all liability claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in the studio or on the property known as 7 Nita Court, Mechanicsburg, PA.  which arise or may hereafter arise from Participants involvement in activities hosted, organized or involving Charmed I’m Sure Studio. Participant understands and acknowledges that this Release discharges Charmed I’m Sure Studio from any liability or claim that the Participant may have against Charmed I’m Sure Studio with respect to any accident, bodily injury, personal injury, illness, or property damage that may result from Participants involvement either in the studio or on the property known as 7 Nita Court,  Mechanicsburg, PA

2. Assumption of the Risk:

Participant recognizes and understands that there may be inherent risk with regard to Participant’s involvement. Participant understands and acknowledges that this Release discharges Charmed I’m Sure Studio, it’s owners, instructors, neighbors, employees, from injury, illness, accident, or property damage resulting from participation in any event associated with Charmed I’m Sure Studio.

3. Insurance:

The Participant understands that insurance for liability, health, and medical or disability coverage in any way related to this event and under this agreement is the sole responsibility of Participant.

4. Indemnification:

Participant agrees that he/she will indemnify and hold Charmed I’m Sure Studio, instructors, employees, neighbors, or owners of 7 Nita Court, Mechanicsburg, PA, harmless from any liability resulting from involvement in this event by Participant, his/hers assigns, heirs, guests, invites or other persons accompanying Participant.

5. Other:

Participant expressly agrees that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by laws of the State of Pennsylvania and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania. Participant agrees that in the event that any clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.
